Dallas found the late touchdown it needed Sunday, Oct. 4, when Dak Prescott connected with CeeDee Lamb from 12 yards out to complete a 34–30 comeback victory over the Houston Texans.
The decisive possession covered 74 yards in 11 plays. It was the final answer in a game the Cowboys had trailed 16–6 at halftime, and it gave Dallas a much better ending than the previous week’s narrow defeat against Baltimore.
Lamb caught 17 passes for 189 yards. Prescott completed 32 of 45 passes for 335 yards, while Javonte Williams supplied three rushing touchdowns.
Dallas had to work through a frustrating first half before its offense began finishing drives. Williams scored twice in the third quarter and again in the fourth, but Houston regained the lead before Prescott’s final touchdown march.
