UT Southwestern and Children’s Health celebrated the final steel beam on Moody Children’s Hospital’s 12-story frame in Dallas on Sept. 29.

The planned campus sits across Harry Hines Boulevard from Clements University Hospital in the Southwestern Medical District. Its design includes 552 beds in three towers and more than 5 million square feet of space.

The organizations project a 2031 opening and say the campus will add inpatient, surgical and outpatient capacity for North Texas.
