President Donald Trump is scheduled to visit the National Medal of Honor Museum in Arlington on Thursday. The trip follows his arrival in North Texas on Wednesday afternoon, when he is set to attend the Republican midterm convention in Dallas.

During the Arlington visit, the president will be joined by members of Congress, national and local leaders, and supporters of the monument. The group will meet with more than a dozen Medal of Honor recipients at the facility.

Trump is also expected to deliver remarks at the museum. The purpose of these comments is described as honoring the courage and service of the American heroes present.

The visit is anticipated to take place in the afternoon. Authorities have indicated that roads surrounding the museum will be closed during the event. Additionally, a temporary flight restriction has been established for unmanned aerial vehicles in the area.
