On Sept. 12, a Beechcraft K35 entered Lake Wausau in Wisconsin at about 8:50 p.m. local time after the pilot reported engine trouble. Two people were aboard, and the FAA said it will investigate.
The FAA also listed two Delta Air Lines incidents from Sept. 10 and Sept. 9. Flight 791 returned to John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York at about 10:25 a.m. on Sept. 10 after the crew reported a possible pressurization problem. The Boeing 757 had been traveling to Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport.
On Sept. 9, Flight 958 diverted to Albuquerque International Sunport at about 1 p.m. after the crew reported an electrical odor in the cockpit. The Boeing 767 had departed Los Angeles International Airport for John F. Kennedy International Airport.
Other reports dated Sept. 9 and Sept. 8 involved commercial and general aviation. A Bellanca 7ECA crashed at Troy Skypark Airport in Ohio on Sept. 9, with three people aboard.
On Sept. 8, Delta Flight 1390 landed at Chicago O’Hare International Airport after a reported fuel smell, United Flight 18 arrived at Bangor International Airport after a reported passenger disturbance, and Southwest Flight 1379 landed at Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport after the crew reported a bird strike during departure from Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport.
The flights involved Airbus, Boeing 757 and Boeing 737 MAX-8 aircraft, respectively, as identified by the FAA.
