Six hospitalized after overnight Dallas shooting, police say

Dallas Police are investigating a shooting on Highland Village Drive that left six people in hospitals, with one person in critical condition.

Six individuals were transported to area medical facilities following an incident of gunfire in Dallas over the weekend. The Dallas Police Department confirmed the event occurred around 12:55 a.m. Saturday along the 5900 block of Highland Village Drive.

According to law enforcement reports, unidentified suspects fired multiple rounds during the encounter. Officers have not yet identified the individuals responsible for the shooting.

Hospital officials report that one of the six victims is currently in critical condition. The status of the remaining five patients was not specified in the initial department update.

Investigators are working to determine the motives and specific circumstances that led to the violence. Authorities stated that further details regarding the case were not immediately available for release.
