Baylor slate spans Florida exhibition to March home game with Kansas

Baylor men’s basketball will play Kansas twice during its 2026-27 schedule, including a February road game and a March home finale.

Baylor’s 2026-27 men’s basketball schedule includes two games against Kansas, with the first set for Feb. 17 in Lawrence and the second scheduled for March 6 in Waco. Game times for both matchups have not been announced.

The schedule begins with exhibition games at Florida on Oct. 18 in Jacksonville and at Illinois on Oct. 23 in Urbana-Champaign. Baylor’s first listed home game is Nov. 2 against Northwestern State, followed by home contests with Arkansas-Pine Bluff, Yale and Jackson State. The Bears will also play Texas in San Antonio on Nov. 15.

Baylor is scheduled to compete in the Players Era Sixteen tournament in Las Vegas from Nov. 24 through Nov. 28. The field includes Alabama on Nov. 24, followed by a Nov. 26 game against either Gonzaga or Kansas State. The opponents for Nov. 27 and the tournament’s remaining matchup have not been identified in the schedule.

The listed times include 9 p.m. for the Alabama game and 9:30 p.m. on Nov. 28.

The nonconference portion also includes home games against Memphis, Queens, College of Ozarks and Mississippi Valley State, along with a Dec. 19 visit to Washington in Seattle. Big 12 play begins Jan. 2 at home against Kansas State. Other conference opponents include Texas Tech, Houston, UCF, Oklahoma State, TCU, Colorado, Utah, BYU, Cincinnati, West Virginia, Iowa State, Arizona and Arizona State.

Baylor’s listed road games include trips to Lubbock, Orlando, Fort Worth, Salt Lake City, Provo, Boulder, Tucson and Tempe. The schedule was reported by wacotrib.com.
