SMU’s volleyball team will head to Pittsburgh with a six-match winning streak after sweeping Boston College on Sunday, Oct. 4, in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts.
The Mustangs won 25–19, 25–12, 25–18 to improve to 12–2 overall and 4–0 in the ACC. Their .468 hitting percentage was a season high, according to SMU’s match report.
The official box score shows why the sweep was so decisive. SMU finished with 44 kills and only seven attack errors in 79 attempts. Boston College managed 28 kills and committed 21 errors, finishing at .091.
The gap was equally clear at the net: the Mustangs recorded 15 blocks to the Eagles’ three. SMU also held a 6–1 advantage in service aces. Those contributions meant the visitors did not have to rely on one kind of point to keep control of the match.
