Dallas, Texas — Gas prices in the Dallas area averaged $3.7995 per gallon for regular unleaded on October 10, 2026, according to AAA, down from $3.8202 yesterday. That is down from $3.9611 a week ago and lower than $3.8690 a month ago.
The statewide average in Texas stands at $3.8359, while the national average is $4.3669. Drivers in the Dallas area are paying below the state average and below the national average.
The Dallas average remains below its AAA recorded high of $4.8370. Regular prices are about 7 cents lower than a month ago. Compared with a year ago, when the metro average was $2.7768, drivers are paying about 102 cents more per gallon.
Diesel in the Dallas area averages $5.6302 per gallon, AAA reported.
