Nonprofits serving Greater Dallas received 97 grants totaling $2,686,500 in the Dallas Foundation’s 2026 summer funding cycle, the organization announced Oct. 5.

The largest share, $1,782,000 across 69 grants, went to the foundation’s family economic stability category. Recipients include For Oak Cliff, Builders of Hope CDC and Wesley-Rankin Community Center.

Healthcare access received $495,500 through 17 grants. Eight parks and recreation awards totaled $237,000, while three mental and emotional health grants added another $172,000.

Stevens Park Estates Neighborhood Association and Southern Gateway Public Green Foundation are among the parks recipients. The announcement lists recipients by category; it does not give an individual award amount for each organization.

Donor-established funds support the cycle, according to the foundation. Staff review applications before the Board of Governors approves awards. Residents can see the complete recipient list in the foundation’s announcement.
