Dallas Water Utilities (DWU) invites the public to the 32nd Annual Water-Wise Landscape Tour on Saturday, Oct. 17, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The event takes place at the White Rock Pump Station, located at 2900 White Rock Road.

This annual gathering is one of DWU’s longest-running conservation initiatives. It supports the City’s ongoing commitment to educating the public on sustainable landscaping practices that promote water conservation. The tour features residential water-wise landscapes demonstrating innovative techniques, including drip irrigation, rain barrels, soaker hoses, and composting systems.

Gardens along the route showcase native and climate-adapted plants that thrive in North Texas. These include salvias, Texas sage, Turk’s cap, Gregg’s mistflower, lantana, red yucca, Texas mountain laurel, and black-eyed Susans. Tour maps will be available at White Rock Pump Station.

In addition to the residential tours, DWU offers educational and interactive activities at the station during the event hours. Free activities include arts and crafts, irrigation booths with conservation experts, a seed ball-making activity, and a trivia contest where attendees can win native shrubs and plants.
