Six Texans were unavailable for Wednesday's practice, with five listed as working back from injuries. Offensive tackle Trent Brown had knee and wrist issues, defensive end Jadeveon Clowney was dealing with a knee problem, wide receiver Nico Collins had a hamstring injury, linebacker Jake Hummel had a groin issue and offensive guard Ed Ingram also was listed with a groin injury.

Tight end Dalton Schultz was absent for rest.

Collins hurt his hamstring during practice last week and did not play in the Texans' Week 2 loss to the Bengals.

Three players took part on a limited basis: defensive end Will Anderson Jr. was resting, while defensive end Logan Hall and safety M.J. Stewart were listed with knee issues. Safety Reed Blankenship and linebacker Wade Woodaz, both listed with thumb injuries, were full participants.
