Rangers defeat Twins 6-2 behind Jansen's two-run double and solo homer

A Decisive Second-Inning Surge

The Texas Rangers defeated the Minnesota Twins 6-2 on Saturday at Target Field in Minneapolis. Key Offensive Moments

Jansen advanced to second on a throwing error. Shortly after, Carter doubled to right, sending Jansen home. The inning continued with Osuna doubling to right to drive in Carter, followed by Nimmo doubling to right to send Osuna home.

Jakob Junis pitched one inning with one hit and no earned runs. Tyler Alexander pitched one inning, allowing two hits and one earned run, while striking out one. Jacob Latz closed the game, retiring all three batters he faced in one inning with three strikeouts and no hits or earned runs.

For the Twins, Bailey Ober took the loss. He pitched 5.0 innings, allowing 10 hits and six earned runs, while walking one and striking out five. Travis Adams pitched two innings, allowing two hits and one walk, with four strikeouts.
