Dallas, Texas — Gas prices in the Dallas area averaged $3.9024 per gallon for regular unleaded on September 25, 2026, according to AAA, down from $3.9214 yesterday. That is down from $3.9820 a week ago and higher than $3.6263 a month ago.
The statewide average in Texas stands at $3.9529, while the national average is $4.4918. Drivers in the Dallas area are paying below the state average and below the national average.
The Dallas average remains below its AAA recorded high of $4.8370. Regular prices are about 28 cents higher than a month ago. Compared with a year ago, when the metro average was $2.7133, drivers are paying about 119 cents more per gallon.
Diesel in the Dallas area averages $5.8894 per gallon, AAA reported.
