Dallas ISD is inviting campus communities into the $6.2 billion Bond 2026 Program through a districtwide design charrette this weekend, the district said in a Hub post dated Sept. 23.
On Saturday, Sept. 26, Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts will host the BIG Design Charrette, which Dallas ISD said will showcase campuses and their bond projects under one roof.
The event is the first major step in bringing Bond 2026 to life and is meant to give new-campus communities a direct voice in shaping future facilities alongside district architects and leaders, according to the district.
When and how campuses arrive
The charrette kicks off at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 26, Dallas ISD said. Each participating campus has been allocated a 55-seat bus to bring campus teams - including principals, staff, Site-Based Decision Making Committee members, PTA/PTO representatives, families, and neighborhood organizations - to Booker T., the district said.
