Two men were treated for serious gunshot wounds following an incident in a residential area of West Dallas early Sunday. Emergency services responded to the 3700 block of Pueblo Street around 5 a.m. after receiving a call regarding the shooting.
Upon arrival, responders located two males with gunshot wounds on the street and sidewalk near a residence. Both individuals were transported to local hospitals by Dallas Fire-Rescue personnel.
Police indicated that a disturbance occurred prior to the gunfire. Investigators collected multiple shell casings from the area in front of the home. Officers also canvassed nearby properties to seek potential surveillance footage that might aid the inquiry.
A third male was subsequently dropped off at a hospital with a gunshot wound. Authorities are currently determining whether this individual is connected to the Pueblo Street incident. Assault detectives and crime scene technicians processed the area, which required closing the street to traffic.
